LE PETIT BLEU

A film by

Jessica Palud
This is the story of a 20-year-old kid from Guadeloupe who joins the police force, with an absent father and a complicated mother, two little brothers living within the country. It’s the story of a kid who becomes a peacekeeper in Grenoble. Some people dream of becoming an astronaut in Cap-Canaveral, and for him, he dreams of being peacekeeper in Grenoble. Peace is good. Keep it or screw it, it’s the idea of sleeping in peace. And Grenoble is his life, his secret, something to come of it. It’s the story of a kid who is given a gun and told not to shoot. Outside, people scream, there are flames, and others die. Those outside are unwell, they don't like you, they insult you, throw stones at you. "Kill yourself!" they say. It’s a country that is not doing well. It’s the story of a kid who will fall from up above.
